When I first started shooting, I used my dad’s film Minolta. I’m not even sure what the lens was or what type of body it was. It didn’t matter. All that mattered was it constantly frustrated me because I was trying to learn on my own. When I got to college, I bought a new camera – a Canon EOS 3 (film) with a 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. I still have both the lens and camera, but they don’t get a lot of use anymore.
When I joined the world of digital, I was gifted a Canon 10D. It is amazing that I got that camera 6 years ago, and it is now obsolete!
When I became more serious about photography, I upgraded my gear keeping in mind that my goals would be to someday have my own business. I started taking on clients in order to upgrade my gear. Everything that I have purchased is what I use now!
